We are searching for a self and commission-motivated sales team member for business-to-business transactions. The successful candidate for this position is talented and motivated with experience in sales, customer service, relationship management, and industry experience or interest.
Job responsibilities and duties:
- Responsible for growing their Customer/Dealer base in our wholesale distribution market in Florida to build sales territory
-Able to meet sales goals and to prospect to establish new customers.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet.
- Focuses on sales efforts by studying the existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job qualifications and skills:
-The qualified candidate will have 2 years min of sales experience selling to businesses.
- Sporting goods, firearm accessories, and Law enforcement industry and product knowledge is a plus.
Core Skills:
Communication: Strong phone and email skills to develop relationships, understand needs, and generate sales. Able to communicate effectively and present to varying audiences.
Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to put the customer first is a must. Problem-solving and negotiation are skills that are needed in this position.
Goal-Oriented: Motivation to succeed and achieve assigned sales and activity goals. History of achieving sales quotas. Positive attitude.
Territory Management: Evaluate existing customer\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s needs and level of contact needed and identify new opportunities to succeed.
Computers: Strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of Word, Excel, and databases are important in accessing and compiling data needed to perform this job.
